Charlie knows the world of management consulting. Charlie joined the Business Systems Consulting group at Arthur Andersen in 1991 and subsequently worked for Deloitte Consulting’s SAP implementation practice, beginning in 1994. Charlie’s career with Deloitte included technical configuration, project management and sales delivery, and geographically spanned US and European markets.
After nine years in the Big Five, Charlie started what would later become The Moss Group, a boutique management consultancy that completed multiple reference engagements for organizations such as McKesson Corporation, Lee Hecht Harrison and Adecco. In parallel to working with corporate clients, Charlie started an Executive Coaching practice that helps emerging business leaders develop strategy and increase organizational performance.
Today, Charlie’s main focus is working with organizations that have a strong desire to grow and are willing to make tough strategic and operational choices to build a foundation for success.
Charlie holds a B.A. in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and an M.A. in Organizational Management from Fielding Graduate Institute. Charlie is also a long-time and enthusiastic yoga practitioner who has traveled to India and other parts of the world to study Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga.

Mike Hansen
Mike Hanson has deep experience in advising emerging and established companies in the areas of strategy, technology, operations and raising capital. He has assisted dozens of businesses in establishing their vision, strategy and mission as well as helping these organizations identify their readiness and capability to attain key objectives. Mike also has considerable experience building enterprise-wide tactical roadmaps, change strategies and technology integration programs.
Mike has acquired, run, merged and sold several successful companies. Prior to joining The Moss Group, he held the position of COO of Guidance Solutions where he grew the company from 30 to 185 employees. Mike also held senior positions with Deloitte & Touche Consulting Group and Cambridge Technology Partners, where he was instrumental in building new practice areas.
Mike holds a BS in Business Administration from Arizona State University. He has taught logistics supply chain courses in the California State University system and served as president of the Los Angeles chapter of APICS.
Melissa Milovina
Melissa Milovina has ten years of experience in recruiting high performing professionals for a wide range of corporate clients. Melissa serves TMG clients by sourcing top talent for specific roles and ensuring a good fit with the hiring organization’s expectations and culture.
Across different industries, Melissa has developed strong business relationships with hiring managers at client companies to facilitate matches between parties resulting in consistent repeat client requests for her expertise.
Prior to joining The Moss Group, Melissa launched a team of financial consultants at Accountemps and grew it from 0 to 45 while providing management and guidance to ensure delivery of high quality financial services.
Melissa has a B.A. in Business Administration/Marketing from Loyola Marymount University.
Steven Piepieral
Stephen has deep experience in strategy, technology and healthcare. He has held leadership roles for over 18 years in business development, sales, technology evaluation and deployment, M&A and team entrepreneurship. Stephen consults to clients across a broad range of industries: Life sciences, healthcare, marketing, technology, business model development, franchise operations, manufacturing, ISO and 510K/GMP compliance, mobile cryptography, healthcare, gaming and venture capital.
Stephen is a founding partner at 2bClear, past founder and CEO at iForem inc. and iModa, and entrepreneur in residence at Gabriel Venture Partners. Stephen previously held positions of CTO and EVP for CareThere; EVP, International Sales and BD for Neoforma; and COO and VP of International Sales for Open MRI and IES.
Stephen has raised several millions of dollars in operating capital for fortune 500, venture-backed, privately funded and family owned startups while taking one company from seed to IPO.
